    Thanks so much for your interest squadratomagico.

    I was thinking I might refine that comment a little and make a blog post with it here, so you've encouraged me to do just that. The play was a combination of several of her books and most all of the language and structure (a spiral journey to the other side of the moon) was drawn from Pure Lust - but informed by all the other books were available at that time including Daly's wonder filled Wickedary.

    The title was meant to set the word "Cunt" free - and to give us an opportunity to speak about the etymology of the word which is truly fascinating. We had an unprecedented opportunity to be interviewed by the press everywhere we went - and enjoyed sold out houses.

    A bit more about the word. The word "Vagina" replaced the C word in common usage at the time male centric religions were replacing earth based, pagan practices. At that time it was well known that the word Vagina referred to the "sheath for a man's sword". Thus redefining women's physically by a man's reference point.

    The word Cunt has an older and very noble history! "The prefix 'cu' is an expression of "quintessential femineity" (Eric Partridge, 1961), confirming 'cunt' as a truly feminine term.
